The Department of Physics is one of the take-off Departments of the Spiritan University, Nneochi, established in the 2018/2019 Academic year. The Department is located in the Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences’ Building, close to the University’s Second Gate. The Department’s academic programmes are designed in line with the National Universities Commission (NUC) standards and course outlines drawn in line with national and international Universities standards.

PHILOSOPHY OF THE B.Sc. PHYSICS PROGRAMME.

The programme provides students with a broad and balanced foundation of physics knowledge and practical skills, instilling in students a sense of enthusiasm for physics, and appreciation of its applications in different contexts. The programme develops in students through an education in Physics a range of transferable skills of value in physics and other areas.
