Nigeria Universities Commission released the 2021 Nigerian University System Rankings and Spiritan University is ranked as follows:
- Student teacher ratio: 2nd position out of 204 approved universities in Nigeria.
- Internationalization (Students): 5th position out of 204 approved universities in Nigeria.
- Internationalization (student): 2nd out of private universities in the South East Geopolitical zone.
- Overall Ranking indicators: 28th position out of all private universities in Nigeria.
- Overall Ranking indicators: 4th position out of all private universities in the South East Geopolitical zone.
- Overall Ranking indicators: 55th position out of all universities in Nigeria.
All these achieved Just in 3 years of existence, SUN has over taken many Federal, States and Private Universities.
